Goal Setting & Planning Skills workshop – 9th January 2020
Getting Ahead: Setting my Intentions – 9th January 2020
In the current climate; as workloads increase, and resources diminish, It’s important that we are clear about our professional goals and how we can continue to achieve these. This workshop is about how we can set sustainable goals that are aligned with our professional roles, values and development. Only with an eye on our professional goals can we ensure we do not fall prey to the immense changes currently facing the workplace.
What attendees will gain from attending:
- Clearer sense of direction: by reviewing your achievements, expectations unfulfilled and learning points from last year
- Putting yourself in the driving seat: Identify what values motivate you, what roles you require to fulfil to have more balance and success
- A Map to guide you forwards: Identifying the goals you need to fulfil in each role to maintain balance, support you need to ensure success and the guidelines to sustain you ahead.
‘I spend lots of time keeping myself up to date clinically but this was so valuable to reflect on how I manage the day to day work and how I could work more smartly, develop my staff further and gain a better work life balance.’ Kay James, Occupational Therapist, 2019.
